HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

RUN : 3: 15 / 4R:1W / TREADMILL

Today is the beginning of the Chinese New Year. It is the year of the PIG. It seems fitting that I am running The Pig this year. If you were born in 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983 or 1995 - you were born under the sign of the pig. Like the pig, you are highly regarded for your chilvary and pureness of heart, and you often make friends for life. For pigs in 2007, any recent setbacks or obstacles can be overcome so look forward to a year in which to really shine, either personally or professionally. Hopefully it will be my year to break the 6:00 mark in the marathon.
Today, after going over the options, I decided to head for the gym and run on the treadmill. The minimum goal was 3:00 with a max of 4:00. I did make it to 3:15 ,needed a pit stop and that was it for me. I felt good though and probably could have pushed to the 4 but just didn't. During the run 1 used 3 Gu's and that worked well. As far as my peeps reward-they are safe until another day.
Waddling to watch the Daytona 500 with hubby........

Awesome job on the run! I didn't see you? I was over by the windows, trying to soak up some outdoors feel and all that.

You are doing everything you can for a sub 6:00. :)

Peeps!

You absolutely amaze me doing 3+ on the treadmill. I'm not worthy :)

But this is why I think I'm so excited about this year. I just have the feeling it's going to be an awesome year for me. It's probably cause I'm a boar, no really I am!! I was born in 1959!!! Watch out world.

Over 3 HOURS on the treadmill?! Wow. That is amazing. I can barely do 1 hour on the 'mill.

Three hours on a treadmill is enough to qualify you for the certifiable award. Welcome to the club! You will make it. Spring will come. Even if you get in at 5:59:59, you've made it.

From one Peep-a-holic to another - Happy New Year! I had no idea pigs were chivalrous.

I'm with all the dropped jaws over how long you can endure a dreamill - that is really remarkable. Imagine how pleasant it will be to run 6 hours amidst scenery and cheering crowds.

The weather will break this week...you'll get outside for next weekend's long run.

Too bad Mark Martin couldn't hold off Harvik at the end, eh??
