NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS

RUN: 40 MIN/ 10:1 /2.5 MILES/ AVE HR 130

It was quite the night. The club was packed with people trying to get in shape in 1 day. I realize it takes 1 week. Haha. I had a good run on the treadmill. It was 45 outside but the rain kept me in. Looking forward to taking Dakota for a run.....

Well here it is the New Year-time to re-examine goals and achievements. I feel I had a good running year last year. The highlight was the USAF half marathon. In total I ran 1- 5K, 3 half marathons, and 1 marathon.

LOOKING TO 2006.
The first thing I did on New Years was to sign up for the Galena Duathalon. I've already signed up for the Flying Pig 1/2, San Francisco 1/2, and looking at the USAF 1/2. I want to do a 5K on April 9th . Also looking at the Batavia duathalon. It's time to develop a traing plan, lose some weight and turn 50 this year in style!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLIDAY CATCH UP

THURS-0
FRIDAY-0
SATURDAY- 60 MIN SPINNING
SUNDAY- 30 MIN TREADMILL- INCLINE
MONDAY- 60 MIN SPINNING

Okay- so I havn't kept up on my blogging but I'm back. The run I did on Sunday felt exceptionally well. I think the spinnning is making a big difference. With the cold weather -I have been staying inside. My first race planned is in April so I will be out no later than March 1. For the first time in December I have actually kept training of some kind. Of course my New Year's resolution is to lose weght but I think it will happen. Weights and spinning will play a large part of my new training.
