MARATHON REFLECTION
- Always respect the distance no matter how well trained you feel you are.
- I will run another marathon next year- not Chicago but somewhere were the time limit is at least 7 hours.
- It is all about the training .
- I love to be out there and face the challenge.
- The best -my friends ran and finished their first marathon and celebrated after the race.
- The Flying Pig is in my future.
- Examining problems- my weight (must lose 30 pounds before next marathon), my shoes, possible need for stability shoes after injury, more cross training, and the most important CORE STRENGTH.
- Most importantly somewhere in there I found my strength to finish.
Thank you God for the Day!
