NON-STOP
From the time my feet hit the floor, it was non-stop.
I rode the bike trainer before work for 30 min. It felt relaxing on my legs and a good start to the day.
Work came next. It was one of those day when there just wasn't enough hours. Even lunchtime was taken up with an unexpected meeting. I did get off early but only to pickup Hooch and we headed for dental appointments.
It was sunny and warm outside so as soon as I got home I changed into my running clothes and got 3 miles in. I took Dakota, my golden retriever, with me. The fresh air felt great.
Next- it was my mother-in-law's birthday today. Hubby and I took a cake to her during her ceramics class. It was a nice surprise.
It's now 9pm and I just sat down. Time to hit the sack 4:45am will come quick.
Waddling to get some winks....................

OPTIONS
Last week , I wrote down a basic plan for the upcoming weeks. Again, let us pull out that eraser.
MONDAY- I planned to go to 530am spin. Over slept due to time change. Got in a 2 mile run on the treadmill in AM. No strength had to take Bino to the eye doctor.
TUESDAY- It started as planned with masters swim. Good workout. Some distance and a few intervals in the AM. I got off work late, Bino was running a fever, took him to urgent care and he has strep throat. Got prescriptions filled and arrived home at 7pm. I missed a beautiful sunny evening to run but-that's ok.
Not as planned but it felt good.
Waddling to see what happens next..................

The photo is of spring. It certainly looks nothing like that here. At my dad's house in Ohio where there is 20 inches of snow, it looks nothing like that. But sometime in the future, it will look like that.
Because of the weather , no chance of running outside. So Saturday , I ran 5 miles on the treadmill. I am so antsy to get outside. I am sure I will soon be complaining about the heat.
Sunday was a brick. I started with masters swim. We did some 2 minute intervals. I am beginning to feel the difference of adding the strength workouts coach gave me. After an hour in the pool, it was straight to spin class. We had a workout that was almost entirely out of the saddle. I was surprised how good that I felt after the 2 hour workout.
Looking at the calendar- Galena is 10 weeks away.
Waddling while looking for spring..................
