Longer Run

RUN: 5.25 MILES/ 73MINUTES / 4:1

Dakota and I got up and went out. It was his first long run and mine since the marathon. I wanted to go 5-6 because I was unsure of the knee. It felt good and the weather was 55 and cloudy. Trying to plan alot of crosstraing for the next 2 monthes and then run alittle harder in January. Flying Pig here I come.

WORK-OUT AT WORK

ET (ELLIPTICAL TRAINER) : 30 MIN.

Today I went down to work out at lunch with the plan to do 20 minutes and run 2 after work. My legs were tired and I realized this would be the workout for the day so I increased my time to 30 minutes. Felt good but legs are heavy. Thinking about the weekend will try to run 6 at 4:1.

CROSS-TRAINING

STRONG(WEIGHTS) : 60 MINUTES

Great class- I wasn't sore at all from Monday so I upped my weights alittle. What a great work-out and I love the instructor. I hope this makes a diffence in my core strength.

IT'S A NEW DAY!

STRONG: 60 MIN.

Well ,I think I've finally put the marathon behind me. Focus on the future not the past. Had a very good work out day. I began a new weight class-on Mon. & Weds. I hope to lose weight and see and improvement . Looking at the calendar for next year. So far Flying Pig & Columbus Marathon.

TEST RUN

RUN: 2.0MILES /27:12MIN.

It was a beautiful day and I could not resist testing my knee. So Dakota and I ran 2 miles. Felt great except for the last block I walked it in. When it starts to hurt walk. I will try for an easy running week.
