FEBRUARY FLEXIBILITY

When it is 47 and sunny in February -you just gotta run outside. Dakota was thrilled. I was a good easy run . Felt good and ran except for the first turn. My time was slower but it was windy. I just need to re=adjust to outside.

TOUGH TONY

Great workout! Now that I know my zones I pushed alittle harder. It was tough but felt goos when done. May try to spin tomorrow again.

TUESDAY TEST

MAP TEST: AB 135 / AT 168

TOday I had a map test done at the gym to check my training zones. I was pleased at my AT and now realize my zones and see I need to train more in zone 3. It was very interesting and I would like to do it again next year.

The gym was packed but it made the time go fast with so many people to watch. I did 10 min on 4.0-10 min. hill climb, 10 min pickups to 5.o then 10 on 4.0 . It felt like a good workout.

WORKIN' ON THE WEEKEND

SATURDAY: SPINNING/ 70 MIN. / AVE HR 148/ MAX HR 171

SUNDAY: RUN/ 90 MIN./ 4:1 / AVE HR 138/ APPROX: 6 MILES

The Bottom Line Challenge has begun and training is kicking in. spinning was with Mary. It was intense flats with hills in 11 minute segments. I really pushed out of the comfort zone. My leags were tired Sat. On Sunday went back and did the treadmill. After 30 min. I was able to settle in. I am pleased with the weekend.

The week ahead: Mon- easy run, Tues- map test and spinning, Weds??/ Thurs First Brick: 15 run-60 spin-15 run/ Friday rest/ Saturday- spin/SUnday run. This is flexible.

Also- got on the scales an I've lost 8 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!
