SATURDAY ?SPRING SPINNING

SPINNING: 1:10/ AVE HR 128/MAX HR 165

Woke up this morning to snow on the ground. Again it goes back to training flexibility. So much for spring. I think everyone else felt the same way. Class was full. Mary did quite a hill workout. There were alot of people in there today training for events. I met a lady training for the Subaru triathlon. It's nice to start metting a few orgwes doing the same thing I am.

Planning on a run tomorrow- not sure how long or where! Flexibilty!!!

TOO TIRED-WENT ANYWAY

On the way home -I decided to take the night off. No motivation. But I had made a hair appt after the 6-7 spinning class. I've got to go anyway. I'll probably run into Cindy. I'll just go. I went and sat in the back of class and had an easy ride. I felt good that I did it. Got my hair cut when I was done.

I rewarde myself with 2 mcdonald's hamburgers,fries,and an apple pie. I did excercise you know!!!

Whaa beautiful evening. 50 but alittle windy. My legs were heavy and I felt reaaly slow but at least I got out there.
I ran first then changed to my bike and picked up Cor. The wind was defintely tought. No wrecks and a smooth ride. I played alot with the shifting tonight. Only 6 weeks to get the hang of this. I am really glad I opted out of the PIG and am going to Rockford.

ENDURANCE SPINNING ON THE I&M

Mary took us on an endurance ride. The entire time except for 2 -30second sections was in the saddle. I loved the workout. Mary can make it so visual and make you push it to the end. Excellent training workout!

FIRST DAY OF SPRING-BACK INSIDE

RUN: 45MIN. / NO HR/ APPROX 3.0 MILES


It was so cold , grey and windy that I went to the club on the treadmill. I ran 45 min with a 10:1 ratio and .5 incline. It was a good workout. My legs were alitlle tired and the back on my rt hamstring ached all day.

WHERE IS SPRING??????

What an awesome morning. It was 28 and sunny with a slight wind. Dakota nad I headed for the prairie. It was his first time there and he did great. Near the finish I saw a herd of deer running and it comes back the real enjoyment and love of being outside. I feel finally that I am getting somewhere in training.

Corbin and I went and got new shoes this afternoon. I am trying a pair of Gel Kayano. I hope I like them.
