SAYING GOOD-BYE

I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me.. Now I’m free.
I’m following the path that God has laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard Him call.
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day:
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I’ve found that peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remember joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.
Ah, yes these things I too shall miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief;
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me…
God wanted me now; He set me free.

Good-bye Dad! I love you and you've gotten your peace!

My deepest sympathies to you, your husband and the entire family. Losing a loved one on a holiday is hard. Yet, you have much to be thankful for and this will be a reminder.

My Dad passed away on Christmas Eve in 1993. A life well lived, as that of your Father in Law. Each year brings fond rememberances.

My best to you as you work through the funeral and grieving process.
