CRAP
Crap. That one word descibes tonight's excercise. Because of the weather, which was very stormy and humid, I decided to head to the treadmill at the gym. When I began running, I felt like I had never run before. My left rib hurt from the jarring. I just could not run. After 10 minutes I quit and headed for the elliptical trainer and survived 20 minutes. I can;t believe what happened.
I do need to taper for Sunday. But talk about a ego deflater.
Waddling with my head down....................

Pick that head back up! That is more then most people attempted to do today!

At least you made an effort. I didn't even try to waddle today. I just sat on the couch eating doughnuts.
I've honestly heard that in the process of getting stronger before a race you reach a point where you are really worn out--completely. I would suggest you try to spend some time in bed resting and having faith in your body's ability to heal and bring you back stronger than ever. Hard to do, I know, but I believe that this works.
You got some exercise in, good for you!

Chin up! Crappy workouts are just a few...and not all! The next one will be better...if it helps, I had a horrible run and swim today too! (must be the alignment of the planets or something! Can't we blame it on somebody besides ourselves?) :-0
