ADDITION TO SCHEDULE

Well, it had been one week now since I did (survived) my first triathlon. I absolutely learned an enormous amount. With only 10 weeks until Steelhead HIM, I took a hard look at what's ahead. I signed up for the Rockman Sprint Triathlon in 2 weeks. My weakness and inexperience is in the swim so I thought I would take another shot at it. Again, I have picked a very hilly course.

This morning, I did a 31 mile bike with Iron Snoopy and Ronda. It felt cold at first but warmed up quickly.

sounds like a good plan. think of that sprint as a brick workout in your training toward steelhead. :)

Was your 31 miles downtown. i did 33 today at BIKE THE DRIVE in Chicago. If you've never done that you should. They close down Lake Shore Drive for 5 hours. It was AWESOME!! Great job!! You will rock your next sprint and your HIM.

More open water swimming always helps get one comfortable. Maybe even find a lake on the weekends before Steelhead to practice in. Sounds like fun.
