66-year young mom of 2 young adults, Grandmother of 4, who is a back-of-the-pack runner and triathlete. Since my return to running at 46, I've completed 2 Chicago marathons, the Flying Pig marathon, 11 half-marathons, 7 duathlons,5 sprint triathlons,1 Olympic, 1 half Iron triathlon, and the 2008 Steelhead (DU). 2009 I did my Iron Distance on Nov 7 at the Beach2Battleship, North Carolina.
10 years away from things, I am now trying to comeback starting with a 5k.

that's going to be me all weekend...not running due to injury. it's not all bad though. :-)
We get to have (and enjoy) rest days.

We all need down days. I think we appreciate them that much more and look forward to them that much more with our heavy training program we are on.
