THE BATTLE WITHIN

SPIN: 55 MIN. / AVE HR=143 / MAX HR= 168

I had quite the battle within myself this morning. It was one argument after another:

* I don't want to get up because it's cold but I have to drive Hooch to the school to catch a 745 bus. So I might as well go to 8am spin class.
* The bus wasn't there on time and it will make me late for spin but I should still just head to the gym.
* I am going to the gym and will pull in right at 8am. I hate to walk in spin late but alot of other people do and it will be a good work out.
* As I'm walking in ,I was thinking that 30min. on the elliptical would be good after my run yesterday.
* I got to a locker and put my HR monitor on. Next thing I know I'm heading up the stairs- my spin shoes on. Unconsciously the decision was made.

It was a good endurance work-out with alot of time in the saddle. It actually turned out fine once I got there.

Waddling to watch the Chicago Bears.....

And, the Bears won, just to cheer you up further!

Yeah, days are like that...good for you to persevere and get the workout in.

And, man, it was cold today...that wind was awful!!

The best workouts are the ones we resist the hardest. It always works that way.

Yay you for just doing it. Sometimes we eed to turn our brains off and just let our bodies do the work, ya know!

Nice job!

I don't like to be late for spinning, either, but when it can't be helped, it's better than not going at all. Good job!

At least the Bears won. I won't even mention the Lions.

Hey, way to overcome procrastination! If only I could silence the little voices in my head that easily.
