It has been one of those weeks where nothing is clicking together. After a really good week last week, this week has gone the other way.

The positive part of the week was the addition of strength training. We have a place called the Shape Shop at work and they have strength training daily at 1230-100pm. By shortening my lunch , I have gone on Monday and Tuesday. I was surprised at how sore my arms have been.

On the bad side, I had an ear pain on Monday, thus a short workout on the trainer. On Tuesday, I skipped Masters swim. Today was so exhausting that I did nothing.

At work, my friend and boss left unexpectedly for Florida due to her father's failing help. I feel that alot has fallen on my shoulder and it had truly been a test. We are going through a change in physicians. We are expecting a major inspection. Our treatment machine are also having issues. I am not complaining at all. Just venting. I would so anything possible for my friend.
Tomorrow, I hope to get back on track with a swim and strength workout.

Waddling wearily....

Keep tabs on that ear pain. I ignored ear pain once and by the time I went to the doctor my ear canal had almost closed up with an infection.

I hope things get better soon!

Ear pain can sometimes be referred neck pain also. So an increase in swimming might contribute. Try stretching the side with the pain and massaging it to get the trigger points out. I battle with TMJ and get a lot of ear pain, but it is all referred pain.

Hang in there. We all have weeks like this. You still have a few days left in the week. I know you'll Waddle to a great finish.

I know it is always hard to have a week like this after such an awesome week, so try not to let it get you down.
