YELLOW ALERT

The Chicago Marthon has issued a yellow weather alert for Sunday. This means that it will not be the best conditions for a marathon. I have my first excuse for a bad day! Just kidding.

Waddling and watching the weather............

Good luck on Sunday! The weather might change before then, but whatever it is, you can do it! Danielle just ran Twin Cities and wrote a couple of inspiring posts. I have a link to her on my blog. You might enjoy reading her race report before your race; she didn't have the best weather either, but it didn't stop her from having a great finish time.

Hmmm. Perhaps I will try trickery with the marathon and dress in tri gear Sunday in a mad attempt to bring temps down to 60 and rainy. They'll probably cancel the swim if I do this. Yes. This is what I must do.

I think I've been pretty sly about not talking/thinking/announcing plans to watch the 'thon. I must look for my weather spy.

You can do eeet!
