What a story....
Check out Iron Snoopy and her story of IMAZ. I don't want to give it away.
I haven't set the world on fire with my training this week. I was reading a training book today and realized what my problem and frustration is. It is hard to explain though. I have been skipping workouts because I feel if I can only to a short one why bother. Not making any sense ---but I understand I need to drop my expectation of myself and accept where I am at.
Waddling into the weekend.............

I did that for a while - no workout because it would be short. Why bother swimming at all if its only going to be 800yds. Why run if it's only 2 miles or less. Why cycle if it might only be 10 miles. But all those little chunks add up and doing something truly is better than doing nothing!
Best wishes with getting your training headed in the right direction.
When I get in that mode my partner tells me "baby steps are good too". That helps me get over the "why bother" hump. Hope you get back in your groove.
Just think of each workout like a drop in the bucket. Each drop gets us closer to filling our potential.
It's cumulative and adds up, like money in the bank. Even something as tiny as .50/day is $182.50 at the end of a year. :)
