FIRST

I have added another Tri to my year. This will be my first indoor Triathlon. I could have done in last year but opted out. Coach encouraged me to give it a shot this year. Also he is the race director. I am not sure what to expect and do not like short distances. I do know the best part is that I will not be out on the course by myself. It is at the club where I train on March 15th.
Waddling to add another race to my schedule..............

Hi:

I've done a couple indoor tris, including a Lifetime one a couple years ago. (I'm a LTF member in Minnesota).

Don't get me wrong: the LTF tri is good, but the OTHER indoor tri I do (Tri U Mah) is a much better.

LTF -- the swim is easy enough: 10 minutes in a pool; the bike was on spin bikes that were preset. The run is on treadmills.

The event I participated in was a little disorganized in that the rooms for bike/run were not clearly identified.

However, every club/event is different, so I'm sure you'll have fun.

My husband is doing the LTF indoor tri in Mpls on 4/5. He is not a swimmer, so 10 minutes in pool seems much more tolerable than any time in open water.

I was going to send you to AmyBee, but she beat me to it. I hope you have fun; you deserve some after all you've been through lately.

You can do this. Short, but intense. Over soon enough. Enjoy!
