DOUBT

This morning was my longest run of the year which was 8 miles. I admitted to Snips that I was nervous about it and it made no sense. She also felt the same way. Every spring, I go through the same thing. I doubt if I can run 8 mile Every fall, I am releived that I only have to run 8 miles. I wonder if that cycle will ever change. After finishing the 8, I felt great. Now the doubt about the 10 miler on for next Sunday!

Waddling into another week.............

Congrats on the run! I identify a lot with self doubt but we can (and do) get past it quite often. :-)

I usually doubt my ability to do a long bike ride. This year, the run thing isn't bothering me too much--yet. You are ahead of me on the run, no doubt! Good job getting it done. Once you accomplish something you think you can't do, the confidence is there for the next time too.

Great motto! This year the fourth sport, nutrition, is probably my biggest concern. I hope as with the other sports I can train myself to do more than I think.

Good job on your 8-miler!

Great job on the run! I'm only far enough along the path to remind myself that this is how I felt last year and it turned out all right. It's helpful to know that more experienced folks go through (and overcome) the same doubt cycle! Have a great week.
