MOVIE NIGHT

Tonight, Glenn Elly Runners presented the movie "The Spirit of the Marathon". Snips, Tri-Sharkie, and I took advantage of the opportunity. What a motivating movie! There were some great stories of 6 runners getting ready for the marathon. The best part was that it was Chicago and I had run the marathon that year(2005). This motivation came at a perfect time in my training.

Waddling to hit the sack.............

What a fun way to get re-motivated! I'd like to see that movie too (even though I've never done a marathon.)

I bought this movie at last year's marathon expo and watched it that same night. I have to admit I"ve watched it a few times, and it's inspiring each time. Even my girls (3 and 5) occasionally ask to watch "that running movie." :)
