SUGAR REHAB

Today , I began my day by not going to the cafteria and getting my favorite doughnut. (you can see a photo of it from 10/3. I felt so good. Then---- the construction guys in our Cancer Center brought us doughnutholes from Krispy Kreme. I resisted. Then a patient brought in 2 boxes of fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I'm still okay. The next patient brought in Homemade Doughtnuts. The next patient a box of Fannie May candy. Ok---I give up. I'll go into sugar rehab next week. It's not happening today.

I worked for 12 years in the ICU and wished that the thank you's came in a different (non-fattening) form. It's nice to be appreciated for your hard work - I sure do miss that. I'll 2nd the comment that You have to "be strong" and "resist".

Thanks for stopping by. SGM went well.

Krispy Kreme are the best. Other donuts I can resist by KK are sooooo gooooood! Keep up the running and spinning and the donuts won't matter (as much).
