THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

SUNDAY : RUN : 10 MILES
MONDAY: WALK
TUESDAY : RUN : 30 MIN.

It's the final days before the PIG. My 10 miler on Sunday was good. Not great. Everything that I can do to train is in the books. Taper madness has set in. Today I spent 90 minutes getting together training and goal to look forward to for the rest of the year. Because I'm a nerd, I printed them up and put everything in a binder with dividers.

I am looking forward to the weekend. I haven't been to Cincinnati in a couple of years. It's always good to be back in Ohio. Depending on how I feel on Sunday, I might go see my dad.

I am having a hard time gettting my sleep in. I keep waking up with excitement. I have not posted much because ,it's hard to explain how I feel.

Waddling with anxiety..............

I'm excited and filled with anxiety, and I'm not even in the race. As I'm sure you already know, it's suppose to be sunny, although warm. Good luck, and I await your report about the pig hills.

Yes, it is exciting!! Know the feeling.

Wave at me when you pass Indy on the way to Cincy, as I run the Mini on Saturday. And remember not to eat any Skyline Chili the night before the race!!!! Go get 'em!!! You are ready!!!!

Its normal how you feel. You are wrapped up in your emotions and thoughts of the big day to come. Things get jumbled so you just keep quiet. I'll be thinking of you and waiting to hear your terrific race report! Go get 'em!
