Recently, I have found my focus only on the B2B race in November. The good side to that has been my workouts and intensity has increased. The bad side is that my workouts and intensity has increased which has led to stresses that are unneceesary at this point in my training.
Yesterday for example, I went to the gym for a 3 mile run on the treadmill. I got up late and franticly got to the gym. I realized that if I did the 3 miles getting to work on time would be a challenge. When I started running, it was hard to relax due to being stressed about the time. For the first 10 minutes, my HR was too high and running just sucked. I began walking at a brisk pace. I completed 2 miles and headed to the shower.
My morning at work was very stressful due to a difficult procedure. I was also bothered about my workout and worrying what to do to make up for it. I have really got to relax and learn to enjoy the journey to Iron. I have a long way to go yet. I have a half marathon in May that I am looking forward to with Snips. It's time to reset my sights somewhat and take one day at a time.

Best wishes as you try to relax and enjoy the journey. It's a good thing to realize that you're stressing your self out EARLY so you can try to do something about it. :-)
Training is such an interesting process - look at the mental/emotional training you're doing right now to sort this and rework it! Good luck taking the undue pressure off of yourself.
I am finding this week to be falling off pace due to a pulled muscle. I have told myself since Jan. 1 that from then until mid March, I am just building base and to not try pushing the intensity or distance more than is required. Also a book I bought says to not worry about making up workouts, the easy ones anyway. Just go to the next workout and go from there. If necessary, add a week to the training plan. We have a lot of time yet, but I do understand your concern about not getting all that training in. I hope I'm not being TOO relaxed!
I think there's no need to worry about incomplete or missed workouts so early in the season, esp. fairly short ones. In the big scheme of things, it probably doesn't matter much at all. Keep moving ahead and, yes, make sure to take time to enjoy the journey!
